The Form N-MFP technical specifications have been updated to incorporate the amendments to the form adopted by the Commission on September 16, 2015.[1][2] The draft technical specification, “Draft Form N-MFP2 XML Technical Specification,” is available at https://www.sec.gov/info/edgar/tech-specs.
Filers should be aware of the following:
- EDGAR will not accept Form N-MFP filings constructed using the updated technical specifications at this time.
- For current N-MFP filings, filers should continue to construct submissions using the “EDGAR Form N-MFP1 XML Technical Specification (Version 1.1)” available at https://www.sec.gov/info/edgar/specifications/form-n-mfp1-xml-tech-specs-1-1.htm.
