After a month-long trial, Michael Steinberg, a senior employee of SAC Capital was convicted of four counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy.  The SEC is going after Steven A. Cohen who denies any wrongdoing.  The SEC is going after other employees at SAC Capital until they have built up a stronger case against Mr. Cohen.

It was reported that “The reading of the verdict was temporarily delayed after Mr. Steinberg appeared to faint, and he was escorted from the courtroom to have his blood pressure taken by a paramedic. His brother, a doctor, examined him, as well, and a nurse remained in the courtroom after Mr. Steinberg returned.”
